What we do

Practical help with your website and the systems around it.

You may need a new website, clearer reporting, a connection between systems or an experienced review of work already under way. We begin with the problem and agree the scope, deliverables and responsibilities before the work starts.

Design, development and integrations

Websites and connected systems

A website that fits how your business works.

We design and develop websites around the information people need and the actions they need to take. This can mean a focused marketing site, an existing website that needs restructuring or a more involved system with forms, accounts and connected services.

Where a website needs to communicate with a booking platform, shop, database or another application, we plan the connection as part of the project. We work with the existing setup where it serves the brief and explain where a change would be useful.

Depending on the brief, the work can include:

  • Website planning, content structure, interface design and development.
  • Rebuilds, migrations and improvements to existing websites.
  • Forms, client portals, administrative tools and database connections.
  • Booking and eCommerce integrations where they form part of the project.
  • Mobile usability, accessibility checks, performance and technical search foundations.

The deliverable is an agreed website or tool, tested against its requirements, with a clear handover and an option for ongoing care.

Data people can use

Dashboards and reporting

Understand what is happening without piecing together separate reports.

We help turn information from different sources into a useful reporting view. The starting point is the question you need to answer: which activity produces enquiries, how bookings are performing or where a process needs attention.

We agree the measures and their definitions, review the available data and design views around the people using them. That may involve reporting tools you already have, a shared reporting hub or a custom interface where the requirements call for one.

An agreed reporting project can cover:

  • The audience, reporting questions and measures that matter.
  • Source connections and checks on the available data.
  • Definitions, filters and views that make the figures understandable.
  • Refresh schedules, access permissions and any known data limitations.
  • Documentation and responsibility for maintaining the reporting.

The aim is a reporting view your team understands and can use. Where source data or tracking needs work first, we explain that before treating the figures as dependable.

An informed next step

Technical project reviews

Understand what you have before you launch, take it over or build on it.

A project can look finished while important questions remain about its code, data, deployment or ongoing maintenance. We review websites and applications within an agreed technical scope, including projects created with AI tools and work inherited from another developer.

The review begins by confirming the technologies, access, intended use and the questions you need answered. We then inspect and test the agreed areas and record the findings in a written report.

The scope may include:

  • Whether the project builds, runs and supports the intended user journeys.
  • How configuration, dependencies and deployment are managed.
  • How access controls and data handling work in the areas reviewed.
  • Code structure, documentation and practical maintenance requirements.
  • A prioritised keep, fix or replace recommendation, with supporting findings.

You receive a record of what was checked, the issues found and the recommended next steps. The report states its scope and limitations. Any repairs, further testing or rebuild are agreed separately.

After launch

Hosting and ongoing care

A clear plan for looking after the systems your business uses.

Websites need attention after launch. Software changes, hosting environments need maintenance and someone needs to deal with faults, updates and recovery when something goes wrong.

We provide hosting and technical care under an agreed scope. This can support a system we have built or an existing setup after an initial review. We clarify what is covered, how support is requested and which changes need a separate estimate.

Depending on the platform and arrangement, care can include:

  • Website hosting, server administration and migrations.
  • Software updates and maintenance checks.
  • Backup arrangements and agreed recovery procedures.
  • Security checks appropriate to the system and support scope.
  • Troubleshooting and agreed website changes.

We agree support coverage, backup arrangements and responsibilities for each engagement. Existing clients can use our knowledge base for guides and support routes.

Before we begin

A few practical questions.

Can you work with our existing website or system?

Often, yes. We first need to understand its technology, current condition and available access. We then explain whether we can maintain it, improve it or recommend a different approach.

Do all projects need a custom build?

No. We assess the requirements and the tools already available. An existing platform or a smaller integration may meet the need. We explain the trade-offs before agreeing the approach.

Do you provide ongoing support?

Yes, where agreed as part of the engagement. We define the systems covered, the type of support and how additional work is handled.

What should we send for an initial discussion?

A short description of the goal, the current website or system and any important deadline is enough to begin. If you have a brief or an existing project, tell us what it contains and we can agree how to review it.

Let's talk

What would you like to make work better?

Tell us about your website, your reporting or the system you need help with. We will help you establish a practical next step.
